<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\tDr.Diwakar an Artist <\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\tAbout the Author <\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\u2022 \tDr. Diwakar was born in India in Tamil Nadu on 15th April 1952.
\n\u2022 \tHe did his schooling from Railway High school, Golden rock, Thiruchirapalli.
\n\u2022 \tAfter schooling, he did his Pre-university from Bishop Heber College and BSc Botany from
St.Joseph\u2019s college, Trichy.
\n\u2022 \tDid his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College followed by
\n\u2022 \tPost-graduation in Pediatrics in the Institute of Child Health, Egmore, Chennai.\n <\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\u2022 \tThen did his Post-Graduation in Biochemistry from Madras Medical College, Tamil nadu.
\n\u2022 \tMeanwhile he did another Post Graduation in Acupuncture as an evening course.
\n\u2022 \tJoined government service in 1986 and was promoted as Professor in Biochemistry in 1998.
\n\u2022 \tAfter retirement, joined in AIMST University in Malaysia, now continuing his services in teaching Biochemistry and Pediatrics.
\n\u2022 \tAfter doing some research work, completed his Doctorate Degree in Pediatrics from a foreign University in U.S.\n <\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t2. He developed this art from his young days. The encouragement given by his mother, sisters and \n friends in Medical Colleges made <\/br>him develop his interest in different fields to the core.
\n3. First he started doing leaf paintings on Banyan leaves.
\n4. Then he started doing paintings inside the egg shell. He put a pin hole meatus in the egg shell, removed the contents, washed
with water and then painted inside the egg shell.
\n5. He then started his work in soap. Whenever students come for learning, he will start with soap.
\n6. Then developed his interest in doing chalk piece carvings.
\n7. He has done more than 50 carvings in Pencil lead. Removing the wooden portion of the pencil, he has carved in
the lead part of the pencil. In one pencil, he has shown all the Dasaavathars of lord Krishna.
\n8. He then tuned his interest in charcoal carving. In one piece, he has shown all the Navagrahas with their vahanas.
\n9. His visit to Belhur in Karnataka, created an interest in him to try in stones. He started his miniature carvings in stones
and has got a collection of more than 100 pieces.
\n10. Then he started his wood carvings. He has got a collection of more than 25 pieces. <\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t11. While in India, he started doing
the building structural models, scale to scale.
He helped many of the architects in their construction.
The structural models in the entrance,
in many offices, including Rippon Building,
medical colleges, and hospitals are his contributions.
\n12. He has done many oil paintings on canvas;
many of which are given to temples in Chennai,
\n Coimbatore and Perambalur in Trichy.
\n\nHis future plan is to start a museum to exhibit
